What your store actually costs.

The platform fee is the number everyone quotes. The stack underneath it is the number you pay. Tick what you run.

The floor rule

Every app price above is the vendor’s cheapest paid tier. They all bill by usage, so these hold only for a small store — at 5,000 email subscribers and 500 orders a month, the same five common apps come to $243, not $98. Your real bill is higher than this page shows.

Shopify plans and app prices taken from each vendor’s own pricing page, 27 August 2026. Transaction fees excluded.

Where every number comes from

Priced from each vendor’s own page, never a blog.

Verified 27 August 2026. Worth knowing why we say this: on the day we built this page, every third-party “Shopify pricing” article still listed Basic at $39 and Grow at $105. Shopify’s own page said $25 and $65. Using the articles would have overstated the comparison by 60% — in our favour. We check the source.

We use the cheapest tier, always

Where a vendor publishes a range, this page takes the bottom of it. That understates what you are really paying — deliberately. A comparison you can catch padding a number is worth nothing.

Why ours doesn’t work that way

One platform instead of a marketplace, one team instead of a dozen vendors, and your store hosted alongside others rather than on a server sold to you. That is the whole reason the number is smaller.
